D E V I K A   K R I S H N A N

Devika is involved in teaching and training children, adults and artisan groups in art and design. She also promotes new artists and crafts persons by providing them with a platform for retail at her store Studio Sattva, located in Whitefield, Bangalore.

She has developed the entire visual arts curriculum from preschool to grade 10 for Inventure Academy, an international school in Bangalore. She has developed and trained teachers to conduct art based lessons in subjects such as English, Hindi, Mathematics and History for grades 1 to 9.

She has designed and developed products and technology for various industries (which include Parryware, Palam Potteries, Good Earth and Titan Industries) and NGOs (which include Dastkar New Delhi, Dastkar Ranthambor and the Crafts Council of India) since 1992. She has also developed and taught design related courses at the NIFT (accessory design), New Delhi and Bangalore and Srishti School of Art and Design, Bangalore.

Devika is a graduate in industrial design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, a premier Design Institute in India.

MRUNALINI GIRI

Mini is wonderful with little kids. Prior to Arthouse, she had donned varied hats.

Mini developed the preschool curriculum and taught at Gin Taara, Bangalore.

She was a successful fashion designer and ran a store that retailed her own label for several years. She made garments, bags and accessories for the high end fashion market.

She worked at the center for the Spastics society of India, Bangalore in teaching students with special needs.

Mini is qualified in Special Ed as well as teaching German Language.

SUSHMITA GULRAJANI

Sushmita is a Textile Designer, a graduate from NIFT, Bangalore.

She joined Arthouse after a short stint at Madura Garments. She takes care of some of the design/ business developmental projects in the social sector.
